Veterinary Externship

The Comparative Medicine and Quality (CMQ) team hosts 1-3 week externships at our Bar Harbor and Sacramento sites. During the externship, externs will assist JAX veterinarians and technicians with clinical cases, receive training on a variety of mouse techniques, and attend meetings and clinical rounds. The externship can be tailored to meet the extern’s specific interests and goals, such as spending additional time with the surgery or pathology teams.

Who can apply?

This externship is open to undergraduate students, veterinary technician students, veterinary students, and veterinary residents.
