This hands-on workshop provides detailed instruction on how to use a stereotaxic device and guides participants through every step of the surgical process, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of both the theory and practice behind stereotaxic guided brain manipulation.

- Animal positioning (ear bar placement)
- How to define bregma
- Intracranial drilling
- Brain injection and brain cannulation (including ICVC and Bilateral)
- CSF (cerebral spinal fluid) collection
This in-person workshop offers a unique opportunity to work directly with experienced instructors, receive personalized feedback, and develop your surgical skillset in a supportive, hands-on environment.
Completion of the workshop may be used towards continuing education units for AALAS and Academy of Surgical Research (ASR) re-certification.
