B6.Cg-Tg(Nes-cre)1Kln/J males were mated to female Rosa 26 reporters (stock no 3474). Exceptions to this mating scheme are explained with specific images and time points. Reporter (β-galactosidase) expression is expected in neuronal and glial cell precursors. Primary Reference.
Previously unreported β-gal expression observed in several non-neuronal tissues, including P7 and Adult heart, kidney, lung, pancreas, and testes.
β-galactosidase expression was assayed for E10.5 and E15.5 whole embryos, P0 pups, and P7 and Adult brain, heart, intestine, kidney, liver, lung, muscle, ovary, pancreas, spleen, testes and thymus.
